I had an excellent experience with Newboulds & Co for my recent property sale. I have worked in prior years with other local agents so have a basis for comparison. David Long at Newboulds went far above my expectations. This was a challenging property to market and sell because of its condition, the owner outside the UK in a different time zone and with a probate solicitor also in the communications loop.
At the initial agent valuation (one of three I obtained), David was straightforward and helpful. He gave me good background market information and evaluation of what price might be possible, not just a high valuation to secure the listing. The marketing plan was solid and evolved as required during the listing. The selling price realized in the end was very close to David's initial valuation.
During the course of the listing the property had to be re-marketed. David's communication on status and progress by phone, and email was always timely and on point . Whenever needed he promptly provided my solicitor with formal status updates and his advice on offers received. In addition, as I live outside the UK, David was willing to take on the extra tasks of monitoring the property to meet insurance requirements and obtaining trades quotes when it appeared work might be needed to conclude a sale. I feel this was a level of service and commitment to the client that went beyond normal expectations of a listing agent.
Throughout the process, David was always willing to quickly address my questions and concerns. He was also able to suggest a creative and non-traditional approach to marketing the property after an early potential purchaser dropped out. David persevered through many showings and obtained a great result on this more challenging property sale.
The team at Newboulds office made sure that my messages were passed along and timely contact was facilitated.

Having already seen the house online and scrolling past thinking it was too small/slightly out of our price range, we had written it off entirely. After ringing around a few local estate agents, we got through to David at Newboulds & Co. Right from the first conversation, David was helpful, friendly and reassuring.
